A range of digital technologies are used in all classes through the school to enhance teaching and learning and the safety of our students online is extremely important to us.
Our cybersafety programme is planned to educate our students to become good digital citizens. It addresses what a good digital citizen does, what to do if they encounter something online that they don’t like or is inappropriate, and it helps them identify specific people that they can turn to for help or advice if in a difficult situation.
At the beginning of each year, each student is required to read through our school’s Cybersafety Agreement form, talk through it with their parents, sign it and return it to school. Our Cybersafety Agreement is based on the work done by Netsafe New Zealand.
